Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated September 10, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Terms of Use for Bix. Record of Sale, LLC may suspend or terminate an account that breaks it. Atlas, Scout, and Quill will also refuse these categories in character.
1. Age
You must be 18 or older. Do not create an account for a minor or ask the pals to engage in sexual content involving anyone 17 or under — fictional or real.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Break the law, or ask for help doing so.
- Create, request, or share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
- Get assistance building weapons, explosives, or other devices intended to cause severe harm.
- Write or improve malware, ransomware, botnets, keyloggers, or other tools meant to compromise systems without authorization.
- Steal credentials, session cookies, or two-factor codes, or run phishing campaigns.
- Plan or run scams, including romance scams, advance-fee fraud, or impersonation of banks, governments, or other people.
- Harass, threaten, or dox someone, or attempt to evade a suspension.
3. Professional advice
The pals can talk through everyday questions. They are not doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors. Do not treat output as a diagnosis, a legal opinion, or a directive to take a regulated action. When something is personal and high-stakes, ask a qualified human.
4. Prepaid product limits
Do not attempt to bypass the credit hard-stop, share one paid jar as an unlimited seat for a team, or automate the desk in a way that evades per-user or per-IP rate limits. Credits are prepaid snacks, not a buffet.
5. How we respond
Obvious banned requests may be blocked before a model is called. We log the category and a fingerprint of the attempt. We may refuse future messages, freeze credits, or close the account. If we believe there is a legal reporting duty (for example CSAM), we will follow applicable law.
6. Questions
If a block looks like a mistake, write hello@usebix.com with the time of the attempt — not the banned payload. Related: Terms and Privacy.
